This painting features a cat wearing a captain's hat, gazing out over the sea while dreaming of the journey that lies ahead.
Without using a preliminary sketch, I begin by scattering paint randomly across the canvas. I then discover an animal shape within the abstract composition and gradually bring it to life. Through this process, I explore themes of vitality, freedom, and the release of the spirit.
